The systems can be configured either as all master or with multiple masters and associated remotes. In all-master systems, each station can selectively call any other station. In the master/remote configuration, master stations can call other masters and designated remotes cam call a single master station. In master/remote systems, when a master calls a remote, the remote speaks and listens hands-free. When a remote calls a master, listening is hands-free. Each remote also has a privacy function to prevent monitoring the remote location. In an all master system, full trunkage permits multiple conversations. Up to 5 simultaneous two-way conversations can take place in an 11 station system. Conference calls are easily established. Each master unit has push on/push off buttons to select a station and sound the electronic call tone. Master stations also include talk and talk-lock buttons, volume control for talk and call tone and privacy function to prevent unauthorized monitoring. A single 12-VDC power supply is required for any CM series system. The power supply can be plugged into any convenient 120VAC outlet.
